His Excellency the Minister of Industry, Mr. Bandar bin Ibrahim Al-Khorayef, inaugurated yesterday, October 13, 2025, the new manufacturing plant of the Saudi Aluminum Foundry Company (SAC), located in the industrial area (MODON) in Madinah, covering an area of 40,000 square meters.
During the visit, His Excellency toured the facility accompanied by Eng. Abdullah Al-Obaikan, to review the production lines. Eng. Fahad Al-Ali, General Manager of the company, provided a detailed overview of the various stages of production.
The plant is the first of its kind in Saudi Arabia to produce engineered aluminum components, serving multiple sectors such as automotive spare parts, industrial applications, and other general uses.
The plant’s current production capacity is 5,000 tons, and by 2030, it is expected to reach 15,000 tons of aluminum products utilizing advanced technologies in melting and casting aluminum into engineered molds.
This milestone marks a significant step in strengthening the Kingdom’s aluminum manufacturing sector.
