Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation / Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 7-10 years of experience in Continuous process plant/ Petrochemicals/ Steel/ Glass industry

Required Skills:

• Good command of English Language.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Good knowledge in AUTOCAD.
• Excellent Knowledge of Programmable logic controllers (PLC) (Must be able to write & modify the logic) + Excellent knowledge of VFD’s, Servo Motors & Controllers.
• Excellent Knowledge of Measuring instruments and control system used in continuous process plant.
• Excellent Knowledge on power distribution system, Sub stations, Transformers, UPS.
• Excellent Knowledge of Motors & Control System.
• Good knowledge of Utilities.
• Excellent knowledge of DCS. Must be able to write & modify the logic.
• Good Knowledge of Backup power supply/ Diesel generators system.
• Excellent knowledge of Project planning.
• Excellent knowledge of project Execution.
• Vendor development.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute preventive and corrective maintenance plans for E&I systems.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical and instrumentation issues in a timely manner.
• Working collaboratively with the maintenance manager, ensure that personnel are aware, trained and perform work according to any relevant legislation, and according to standard procedures and risk assessments which are complete and adequate.
• Provide Leadership to drive continuous improvement and improve equipment reliability (including the areas of maintenance performance, plant reliability, and safety, health and environmental performance).
• Responsible to ensure all installations are in line with the industry safety standards.
• To work in a team together with Engineers and Technicians to ensure project and operation smoothness.
• Assist in vendor selection, equipment inspection, and quality assurance related to electrical and instrumentation systems.
• Identifying and reporting of Near miss/Unsafe act/Unsafe condition.
• Perform other tasks directed by immediate superior.
